I have been baptised a few times...why a few times.. well because I found out that the Bible actually says to be baptised in the name of Jesus for the remission of sin.(Acts2:38) before I was baptised with the preacher saying i baptise you in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit. through reading the Bible i found that the name of the father and the son and the holy ghost IS the NAME Jesus.(isaiah 9:6) Ive heard alot of static saying that it doesnt matter how yer baptised but that is saying that the Word or Truth dont matter...which is saying GOD dont matter because he is the living word and he is the truth..does God not Matter...I think he does and put all my Trust in Him. oh and it was full submersion baptism read the bible it matters. it was only done ONE WAY!!

i was baptised as a child...into the roman catholic church..not by choice but because it was something that was done...i didn't realize about the immersed baptism until i was older...all the baptisms i've seen were just a handful of water pourd on your forehead while over a bowl...it was quite something to see a 'true' baptism. it was an educational exeperiance.

I was baptized when I was 19 and it was done by immersion. I wanted to do it in the river, but my pastors knees were weak so we did it in my pool.

I've been dunked 3 times. It didn't stick. LOL
First, when my family wanted.
Second, when I wanted.
Third, with my partner because the Minister thought we needed to do it together.
LOL
Like that helped! hahahaha

I was baptized Catholic as a baby. I think this is wrong - the practice of baptizing a baby. Baptism is dedicating yourself to God. This is something you must be mature enough to make a decision about. As a baby, how can you decide to be a Catholic?
I was baptized again at 17 as a Jehovah's Witness.
I am neither of those religions now.
