ONCe the bills reaches me, i will pay it off straight away regardless if i will have enough to get by for the rest of the month.. Because no matter how long i wait to pay my bills, my spending power for the month also won't increase as the days go by.. and so it's better to clear off the existing bills, so that i need not worry about over spending, and pushing my bills to next month whereby i have to spend more on interest ^_^ haha

i think you have a good track on that...and are very observant to monitor your spending and where to spend it wisely...and thats the thing we should avoid, to have an interest on bills next month when you can pay it today...
thanks for sharing!
have a nice day! God bless!

This will actually be the first month in a while that I have not gotten all my bills paid on the first of the month, before they are due, minus my electric/gas which doesn't come out until after the 5th.
I have had a good bit of medical co-pays this month and it shows in the bank account so the rent gets paid on the first and my other bills will get paid on the 3rd. Electric/gas gets paid when it comes out.
I'm not too worried about it right now cause we just defrosted the freezer and I got a lot more food than I thought I had so I don't need to go shopping for much next weekend.

you really keep track on your bills as well as all the stuffs needed, so i think no worries of not paying on the first month, i think things do occur like this, but as long as you know and you all have the money to pay off, then pay it...like that of the medical, we have to prioritize our health first...

I am generally, like you, pretty good about it if I have the money. Right now things are hard all around. I sat down and did a budget for my husband and I for the next several months. Of course something always pops up and completely ruins it but hey at least I try. Right now we are staying with his mother so we can get completely out of debt. Heaven knows with the economic crisis I do not need any bills that I do not have to have at this point in time. I just hope something in the economy gives soon. I try to pay anything with a late fee before it is due. If it does not have a late fee or has a grace period I take care of it after I pay those that have late fees. In general everything that has to be paid is paid on time. Some bills such as cable (Brighthouse) gives you like a month so I never pay that until I have to, I use that money towards knocking out some of that high interest credit card debt.

I try to always pay before the due date,
I don't like being late.
I have a routine, I pay my Bills with one check and my Rent with the other.
It works out perfect. Never been late on my Rent ever that I can remember.
My Bills were late a couple times, but only by a day or two.
No shut off notices.

I am like you, if I have the money I pay prior to due date when I can. Most of my bills are paid by the due date, It is rare to extra money to pay on them early. A few years ago when I had more money I used to pay as soon as I received them in the mail. Would really like to get to that point again soon.

I wish I could pay my bills early, but that's not an option at this time. I sometimes have to pay my bills in the in between time between the payment and the rebilling date. I'm hoping that eventually, we'll get to a point where we could get a bill, throw a check in the mail, and it's done with. That might take a while though.

I am still studying there for I never pay any my own bill yet. If I start working, I will pay bills after I have money. I won't wait for due dates. Paying after due dates will just cause problem and more money. My parents always pays their bills before due date and they also advise me to do that also.
