Have you ever been scared of going to the dentist?

Up to this age of 22, i am still afraid of going to a dentist. I just don't like seeing all this gadgets he is using. But of course I don't have a choice. Even if I am scared, I still go there once a month for cleaning. Also, I am scared to have one of my teeth taken out by a dentist. Up to this age, I never experienced that, I don't want to experience it also.... ayyy... scary...

i am not scared of my dentist. But i remember when i was young, there used to be dental trainees in my school. They would provide free checkups. I am not sure whether those are "checkups" as they will drill a hole in your teeth then patch it up even though your teeth are fine. Those are the moment of hell for me as the process is really painful...they are trainees after fall and we are their guinea pigs. I remember i got into a fight with the trainee as i don't want to have my teeth checked and maybe "drill and patch not because i had a bad tooth". Those were the old days.....

n0pe,i haven't.as a matter of fact,i love paying the dentist a visit.i love going to the dentist,probably because i haven't had any bad experience at all when i was a kid.when i go to the dentist,i feel like i'm going to get myself cleaned and pampered.i hope to visit my dentist again soon to have my teeth cleaned.happy mylotting!

i have always been scared of going to the dentist. i have somehow associated them with pain. LOL. but i still manage to go to dentists because i know they'll make my teeth look good and healthier.=D

I am afraid of dentist when i was a kid. Well i think its normal to a kid anyway. But i really do that time. My mother will be angry to me always if she wants me to go to the dentist haha i will cry out loud too which i can make my mother irritated..lol When i realized how important that we will go to the dentist i am not afraid anymore lol..or else i will never have a nice teeth right now

i have not been to the dentist for 1 month or so and i make a visit every 2-3 months and mostly because that i have to take my family members for check up to the dentist and then i say to the dentist to kindly check my teeth as well and remove the plaque. so, i think i am not afraid of dentist!!

A visit to the dentist is always painful in my opinion. The way I have to keep my mouth open for a long time and taking all those x-rays is a real pain. I would try to put an appointment off for as long as I can manage.

Oh yeah! Once I had a tooth extracted and the freezing didn't take. Ouch that hurts!
