OMG yea on ABC! I use to watch them ALL the time! There were a lot of good ones..I wonder why they dont do them anymore..havent in yrs come to think of it..

OH so do I....My son would possibly be into some of them but my daughter would be WAY into them...I wonder why they canceled them??

Yea I remember - tehm ABC - after school specials were awesome. and they ususally pictured some kids and stuff that were up and coming stars- Leaf or now he is know as Joaquin Phoenix was in one that I remember and Grant Show was in another- he was a knight on horse.. (I think- seriously that'slike so far back. lol) wow- nostalgia!

wow, I jsut looked it up .. lol you got me going- I remembered the one with Leaf (sorry I will always think of him as that) as him being dyslexic and sure enough I found it.. it was an after school special called Backwards: the riddle of dyslexia. in 1984!

I do, and I remember it was shows my mom did not make us turn off and go do something constructive.

I don't specifically remember those programs, but I do remember doing a lot of research on those exact topics, and finding programs about those things to further my education. I may have watched a number of after school specials and not even realized that that is what they were. LOL
