Anybody here wakes up with an headache? If yes, what do you do against it?

Hey friends! Any of you guys also has this problem?? Many times (8 out of 10 times!), I wake up with a dry mouth and a terrible weird headache, and I feel some kind of pressure on my eyes..It's very weird! I don't like doctors that much because of bad experiences, so I'm rather asking you guys here on MyLot, if anybody has been experiencing something like this!? because I know it's not normal..but maybe I'm not the only one! And NO, it's not a hangover, because I rarely drink alcohol! Only on special occasions...anybody has a clue about this?? Thanks in advance!

It could be dry air or pressure change from a front coming in..Those are usually why I would wake up with a headache, but not every morning..If you are getting headaches every morning, are you drinking enough water? Dehydration can cause headaches too..

I don't drink much water, but do drink loads of cola and energydrink! About 4 liters total everyday, so I'm not dehydrated..but it was a good idea though! And it can't come because of the coffein, because this energydrink doesn't contain it, and the cola as well doesn't contain any coffein! So I do think it's propably high blood pressure! But the doctor will tell me tomorrow! At least, I hope so..

It could be due to the change of the weather. You might have high blood pressure.

This actually would make sense! I don't think it's because of the change of weather (though it went 40 degrees lower, just in 2 weeks!), but I know that high bloodpressure runs in my family, so it could be very good possible that I have got this problem! Anyway, I want to thank everybody for all of your advices! I will follow up all your advices, and will go first thing to the doctor tomorrow, against my will. I will keep you updated here about what the problem was..! Thanks for posting everyone, and happy MyLotting!

Your welcome and I hope you get them under control. The only reason I know for sure that it could because of high blood is because my husband gets them from having high blood pressure. Take care. Happy Mylotting!!!!

Yes, I have for about 3 to 4 days, I have had an headache. This was due to an Flu trying to enter my body. I just tooked Theraflu, and it wiped the headache out of my body!

It sounds strange,waking up with a headache.It can probably happen if you doesn't get a good sleep,try to kick your smoking,or drinking habit. It will be better if you consult a good experienced doctor.

I'm not sure. I wake up with a bad headache once in a while, but it's usually just because I had a bad night's sleep or whatever. I usually just take Advil & sometimes it goes away. I really would consider going to the dr. for this one though if I were you
