After a long journey has come to an end, you find yourself in the Journeymen's Tavern, a large Inn with many round tables, a few corner booths, and a prominent stage. A bard is playing a cheerful melody, and the room is bustling with conversation. As you aproach the master of the house at the bar, you observe a large bulleting board covered in unusual private notices. It is a recruitment post for adventurers seeking compatriots for journeys and expeditions. The host explains that this tavern has become reknowned as a meeting place for all manner of knights errant, wandering clerics, fugitive rogues, thrill seekers, and anyone who earns a keep by their skills alone. You pay for a room, receive a your meal voucher, and retire for the evening. [*]Design and post a character by the guidelines below, then proceed to post notices seeking aid in a quest of your design, or get to know your fellow adventurers.[*] 1. Distribute 12 points among the following: Strength Intelligence Agility Charisma Each must be at least 1 and no higher than 6. 2. Then choose three skills such as lock-picking, crafting, special manuevers, a specific field of magic (i.e. Fire Spells, Healing Spells, Illusions). To use manuevers, either your Strength or Agility must be at least 4. To select spells, either your Intelligence must be at least 4. Actions taken using those skills must be roughly appropriate to your character's advantages. For instance, a character with high strength but low agility would not use manuevers to perform a back-flip, but could knock-down an opponent. Intelligent spell caster are encouraged to use offensive magic, while Charismatic caster are encouraged to use defensive magic. 3. Choose a weapon, the higher your strength the bigger it can be, and describe your armor, if any, likewise. 4. List any Key Items you have: torch, rope, potion, etc. Begin.

It was failed attempt to get a game going. It's not really a "subject for discussion." The idea is, you make a character of your own design using those guidelines, and then we "tell stories" by your saying what your character does in response to the situation. But for this particular set-up it would work better if there were various people interested in "leadin" the stories, which apparently there's not.
