i am a engineering student.i have seen that during campus recruitment girls
get more facility.not only that they r recruited huge in number than boys.
i have heard that that company want a balance in boys and girls .specially in
india educated girls are less in number than boys.so they are benefited by this.
but recruitment should be according to merit not gender.

Your Statistics is old one, now the present statistics shows that, in india, more girls are Finished their engineering, than the Guys..
In over all, you can find more Educated Girls than Boys, you can see anywhere, even in matrimonial site, you can find more girls with the professional qualifications like Engineering, doctors, and MBA & MPhil.. but you cannot see at par at this level in the Boys.
And also most of the parents will give the good education to all their Daughters. and most of the parents of the guys are may be not in a position to give the eductions at par with them. They may be select some other Graduations and went for a job due to their responsibilities to take care of their family and etc..
And also, the Girls shall concentrate more on studies, when comparred to the Guys, because they have more attractions than us..
