Now the rule regarding the power play has been changed by the cricketing authority for the upcoming series . now the batting side will decide the second and third power play . before it was decided by the bowling side . but to make the matches more interesting there is a little change in the rule . Do you feel it is going to improve the matches . Give your opinion

Definitely now the matches will be played with different strategies. Bowlers have to compete with batsman more aggresively. The true picture of the rule can be drawn only when the first match will be played. Ongoing series will tell whether this rule is going to stay or will be banished.

i dont think the new rule will make matches more interesting....the whole game will be in favour of batsmen...it will be interesting if match is balanced b/w batsmen and bowlers

This rule definitely help the team which is chasing. As they can change the plan for batting line up and take maximum advantage of field restrictions. It is more favourable to batsman rather than bowler. Bowlers have to really work hard . And they should make minimum mistakes.

well, it has its own advantages and disadvantages. there is no doubt that this will make the game more interesting. we can wintness high scores and more close finishes. but, i fell pity for the bowlers, modern day cricket has been harsh on bowlers. with this rule it will make there life even more difficult. i also fell, this will favor teams batting second. because, they know the target and they can use it when ever they want to change the match condition. while this advantage will not be there for the teams batting first. this will also be hard on captains. they need to more innovative and must keep there thinking cap on every time in the match. what ever may be the result. it will surely be interesting.

You are right. Now the rules are more favourable for batsman. It seems that the administrators have more inclination towards batsmen. Definitely the team batting in second inning will be more benifited.
