Have you ever hung up on a telemarketer?

Isn't it annoying to keep answering the phone when it's a telemarketer on the other end? Oh my,my,my..I can't think of how many times I had to change my phone number because of someone always trying to sell me something. What really annoys me is that the same person would call at least every week trying to sell the same thing after I already told him that I'm not interested. I finally hung up on him because he doesn't understand that no really means no! That sucks doesn't it?

Yes, I hang up on telemarketers all the time without fail. I don't want their product and I try to be polite and hang up politely but they usually keep going so I usually end it with "No thanks, I'm not interested.". Then I hang up the phone. If they keep calling I put my 3 year old on the phone. She loves talking to people!

Yes I hang up as well. But then there are them day's where I ask them where are you how is the weather and on and on. Then I ask then well you know I'm behind on all my bill's if you can figure out out how I can pay them maybe I can buy what your selling. They then hang up on me. lol. Have a good day.

I have tried this once that is why whenever I have unknown callers, i will never answer it again! I tried answering one time a lady and I told her that I am not interested in her offer but she kept on insisting to ask my personal data and tell me that it is very easy and simple, she will not listen to me and I just hung her up even if I know it is rude![/i]

yes dear it has to be done. they are just blood suckers!!
dear miraclefreebies it is so painful to hear some body selling you an insurance or asking for the credit card when you are expecting an important call or you may have to come out of the wash room in a hurry or attending to some thing important!!

i registered my phone number on the do not call list and that takes care of a lot of it but the problem we have the most is that when we changed our phone number we got the old phone number of a hotel and other people so we are always getting calls that arent for us.. and its irritating!! but im not gonna change my phone number again.. im still trying to get all my accounts changed to the current ones since i cant remember what phone number i used where

I know what you mean. If I answer the phone and it is a telemarker, I normally let them go into the start of their speech and then tell them no. If they continue on trying to sell me whatever it is, I just hang up. I'm sorry, but no is no.
