www.gameknot.com is a highly addictive site for chess lovers new and old, novice or master. It has an excelent scoring system that means you generaly play players of around your own ability. There are leagues, tournys etc.
AND its free! Ive chosen to pay though so i can have lots of games on at the same time (usualy played 3 days per move.) i have around 30 games at the moment.
If we have any mylot peeps that play gameknot or join then look me up and add me to ya buddy list, here and on gameknot.
My gameknot name stitch-up , please let them know that i refered you ;)
Many thanks

of course it is joanzz :)
there are players of all levels there. you start with a rating of 1200 and in your first 10 games (or 5? not sure now) your rating will be decided and then change.
there is a world data base to look at (very handy) and alot more options.
Check it out, have fun and add me :)

Heehee :) Im glad you like it.
At first when you start then you can only play 3 or 4 games at the same time, as you win games you can play more (up to 12 with a free account, i think). after a while you can join mini tournys, teams and other games to...
Look out for the GK touneys ;)
what is your gameknot name? ill add you as a buddy if i may?
