Well what reason do you need? He never took his job as a senator seriously. He used it as a step-stool to run for president. He began his presidential campaign after barely two years as a senator. http://obama.senate.gov/about/ http://www.barackobama.com/2007/02/10/remarks_of_senator_barack_obam_11.php Is it his tax plan you like? It won't happen. With the current economic crisis even he has been forced to admit his tax cuts aren't likely. I'm sure that won't prevent his planned tax hikes though. "Does that mean that I can do everything that I've called for in this campaign right away? Probably not. I think we're going to have to phase it in. And a lot of it's going to depend on what our tax revenues look like," Obama said on NBC. http://news.yahoo.com/s/mcclatchy/20080923/pl_mcclatchy/3052901 Note that aside from all this, he had many plans on how to spend the money that we don't have. We already have a substantial deficit that will only get worse if the bailout happens. He had claimed that all the tax cuts and programs would be funded by his tax hikes on those making more, but that wasn't true then and it certainly isn't true now. "Even by his own campaign’s estimates, closing corporate loopholes and tax havens won’t pay for all of Obama’s new plans. In July, the campaign told the Los Angeles Times that they estimate the yearly cost of their proposed tax cuts at $130 billion. They put revenue from closing tax loopholes at just $80 billion. Obama also proposes to raise taxes to pre-Bush levels for families earning more than $250,000 a year and singles making more than $200,000, yielding additional revenue. But he didn't mention that in his speech." http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/factchecking_obama.html These are the things McCain needs to bring up at his next debate against Obama if he wants to be the unquestioned winner.

I know that his political career was launched in the home of a friend of his who wishes he killed more cops and US Servicemembers. I know that he was a recruiter and trainer for a criminal organization called ACORN. I know that he adheres to a bigoted religious doctrine called "Black Liberation Theology", which teaches Black people that all their problems are because of White people. I know that he is a master at making prepared speeches. I know this especially since I went to his campaign rally in Green Bay. Very impressive speech.

I'm not going to try to change your mind because I'm voting for Obama as well. I can give you one very good reason NOT to change your mind - Sarah Palin...lol! Don't ever forget for a single second that if McCain wins she could easily end up President and if you've seen any of her interviews you may understand why I find that to be one horrifying prospect. I mainly wanted to warn you that you will find plenty here no doubt who will take you up on you offer here to try to change your mind. Please don't take everything you read here at face value. Annie
