What would be more exciting to you, wakeboarding or skimboarding?

Wakeboarding is like surfing but you do this usually without the big waves. Your board is attached to a wakingboard boat through the use of a binding rope; while in skimboarding, you use a board in shallow waters and the stance is much like surfing-balancing your body on a board. These are good sports as long as you learn properly. So which one do you find more exciting. Boarding behind a boat, or skimming on thin water and sand?
