Am I boring you?

Have you ever yawned in the middle of a conversation with a friend and had them say, "Am I boring you?" Have you ever been talking to someone and felt as if you would fall asleep, because they were so boring?

I never have and most of the time I enjoy talking to one of my friends online. Sometimes I get busy with other things I am doing online or house work. Most of the time though I like talking to someone else. Unless I am already tired and sleepy I don't get bored.

Sad to say, but yes, I have actually started to fall asleep while on the phone with a friend. It's not that she is boring, it's that she repeats herself. It's always the same story everytime we talk and the same crap over and over. I already know what she is going to say, so I pretty much just do other things while she talks..lol...is that wrong?

Yes, I know I am a boring person. I have had people fall asleep while i was talking to them on the phone. Yes I am a boring person. I start discussions and only get one or two people respond to them or one of them I no one has responded. I honestly think I would make you yawn

Oh, hush your mouth! You're not boring at all. I'm a bad friend for not stopping by more of your discussions. I'll do better.

Hello beauty queen. Yeah, this is a very practical discussion. Sometimes it is true indeed that something being talked about is a little boring between friends, but out of being polite, we would not say so to the one who narrates unless he himself says so, yet we still try to listen to him as a good listener.

I have an aquaintance who bores the living daylights out of me. Thankfully I only ever see him very occassionally at parties, but he always seems to corner me and it's terribly difficult to get away. Of course, that's probably because he bores everyone else too, so they're desperately trying to avoid him catching their eye!! Last time I met him at a party he seriously spent about half an hour discussing with me when we had last met each other! I could quite easily fall asleep in this guy's company.
