Linux ??

So, I'm primarily window OS user , until I get MAC OS X on my PC . I want to know which version of linux is good for beginning , let me know and please if you could include a link where I can download it free ?

Agreed, Ubuntu is the best distro for beginners, and even many experts love it as well. Not only is it very simple to install and use, but if you ever have problems with it, there is a HUGE user base that can help you with your problems online. Good luck!
