If someone says something gross while you are eating, does it bother you?

Me? Definitely. That's the reason why I didn't take medical courses. A lot of things make me bother especially when i am eating. I hate blood and even some grossy talks. It really bothers me and sometimes it loses my apetite to eat. LOL!

I will definitely lost my appetite if someone talk gross while I am eating. I mean, give respect to those who are eating! it's not a good attitude to do that.

It depends on how gross. Sometimes I lose my appetite for a few seconds and I try not to think about what is said and I devour my food. But what really gets me is watching something gross on tv while eating. I lose my appetite for a longer time.

It does matter to me.. I can't eat if some people around me talked about blood and those kind of things that I can't even imagine while I'm eating.. Like those food (well they are not really food) in Fear Factor.. Very disgusting..

to a certain degree, i am not bothered at all by gross talks like mentions of blood, feces etc. but when that person starts to describe it in detail, i don't really stop eating but the food loses its taste. lol!

Actually, it used to bother me - I used to faint at the sight of blood - but it doesn't seem to bother me anymore. I used to help comfort people who were giving blood at the drives when I was high school, while munching on a sandwich as I held the hands of blood from whom pints of blood pumped. Coupled with a fascination for "Trauma: Life in the ER" I really can't be squeamish about seeing or hearing gross things while eating.

Yes it does. I also have a problem when I'm eating at work in our little lunch room with the way some of my co-workers eat. The noises that come out of their mouths are gross, plus their lack of using a napkin drives me up the wall, I try not to look around, but at times you can't help it. I really love the ones that talk with their mouths full,Gross!
