yes saurav gamguly has been selected in the team for first2 test matches against australia.and in the news they are also saying that he may take retirement after this series.but i think he will show the world that he can still play and can do wonders today also.as we know he has made great comeback 2 years ago.he can still do that and can secure his place in team even this time also.

well, i am bit surprised by this decision. be must come up with good performance otherwise will be dropped forever. this is last chance to get back into test team. i don't think he will retire from national team after the series, this might be a rumors, spreading around. well, i read some where that the new selectors have talked with all seniors about there retirement plans. ganguly has left to play against new zealand A team. i am actually surprised by inclusion of badrinath inclusion in the team. there is no doubt that he is a great player, but he has been selected ahead of yuvaraj,rohit sharma. this was surprising.

Saurav Ganguly is a class player. Lets forget his personal problems. Coming back to cricket he is definately a great player. He has immence concentration and what is appealing in him is his determination. He deserves to be in the Indian test team and hope he comes back with a great knock. I think it would be disappointing to the Indian team if he retires and I doubt it happens.
