Have you got suckered into the fad toys?

As I sit here sending my sister all my children's rares on Webkinz as another one of their fad interests bites the dust, I was wondering. How many yugioh/pokemon/any other card sets worth hundreds are sitting in a closet? Or thousands of "friendship bracelets/Italian charms" are in a drawer? How many parents are like me and got sucked into the latest fad toys?

My son is only 15 months old, but I feel like I've been suckered into the fadish mommy toys. I have bumbos, baby paper, and traveling baby swings.... the list goes on and on, and many of these must have gadgets for new moms, didn't find much use with my son. I only can imagine that I have years and years of being suckered to look forward to.

I am very fortunate when it comes to the current fads. My 7 year old daughter has NO interest in any of it. She does have plenty of Webkinz, but LOVES them and is always online playing with them. She loves animals and has tons of animal books. She also loves to draw, so I get her a lot of sketch books. My daughter can't stand Hannah Montana either! My son is the same. He will ask for the toys that are "featured" in toy stores and such, but he doesn't have to have it. He loves his cars, and trains. He's getting into rockets too, so I've been stocking up for his birthday (on the 15th!!!). He also adores flashlights.
