Today in 1908, Henry Ford introduced the Model T automobile to the market. Each car only cost $825. Don't you wish you could get a new car that cheap today?

I bought a new car in the 60's for about that much. It was almost a toy car but it got use to work and back and I pretty much got the cost back in trade-in when we bought the next car.

Hi Bd200789, Yeah, my husband would, but I would rater buy something better for that amount of money like a house. Tamara

That sounds cheap, but relatively speaking, you might take into consideration what the average income was in 1908. If you could get a car at that price and making the average income of today then it would be a good deal.

Oh yes, I wish I can buy that car too. But wait, I hope it is good with MPG too. Now a days you got to be careful with something that is cheap but the parts become extremely expensive. Like printers, the printer is cheap but it barley worked and the ink toner was as much as a new printer. I am not too confident about Ford models

That's the price of a tank of fuel.
