I moved to my bank today to put my money in a fixed deposit plan to earn some income as the stock markets are just too volatile and are giving poor returns. Most analyst are not positive on the markets. My bankers suggested me to invest money in fixed maturity plans which are being issued by tata mutual fund, jm fanancial, icici prudential, reliance capital. Anyone who has actually invested in these funds or have studied these kindly post your suggestions if they are better options to fixed deposits.

yes i think fixed maturity plans are more safe.. i don't want to suggest you to go for share investment, because of the condition of market is very poor.. fixed maturity plans are safe because you invest your money under the guidance of some experienced bankers.. i suggest you to go for that but after full satisfaction and get full information about the plan.. be careful because agents and adviser some time use mis selling for increasing their sales..
