Where's the weirdest place your cat has chosen to sleep?

I had a beautiful, (inside and out) cat name PotSquat (don't ask) who loved to take naps on the top of our very tall refrigerator. The place may not be so strange, but what he did while up there was. As you passed the refrigerator to come into the kitchen, he would "wake" up, reach down and slap the top of your head or pull your hair.(smile) The first time he did that to me, being unaware of this new habit; and the light was off, I screamed so loud I woke up the whole house. He look at everyone, as only a disturbed from my nap cat can, like what's the fuss all about?

I don't have any cats but they do get into strange places. My neighbor used to feed stray cats and he had a yard full until animal control captured all of them. When he was feeding these cats they were breeding like crazy, I used to come home from work and look outside and there would be a cat laying on the hood of my brand new Chevy Cavalier. My neighbors were elderly people you try to respect that kind. I would tell him that his cats were laying on my car and he would tell me they lay on mines too. I let it go at that. I did not call animal control I don't know who did that.

I have this high shelf type thing over my stove..on it I have a gigantic stock pot with a lid. I used to have a cat that somehow managed to jump up to that shelf and sleep on top of the lid of the stock pot

LOL!That' a cute pic! How old is your cat? Maybe he or she is sleeping there because of that shirt that is on top of the trash. Maybe it has sentimental value! haha I have a cat that loves to sleep in any box or things like boxes -- I mean more so than most cats like that. One time I saw her working so hard to fit into an empty doll box, that was only big enough for half of her. I will post the pic if I can see how y'all did that! My oldest cat sometimes sleeps on my head when I'm sleeping. She starts out right in my face and when I can't breath and push her away, she gets at the top of my head, laying half on my head and half on my pillow. During the night she will sometimes end up stealing my entire pillow from me as she stretches out.

When we used to live in our old trailer and we had to cats Tiger and Mrs. Missy and we also had a chihuahua named Little Bit,and Tiger used to sleep next to Little Bit which was kind of odd and Mrs. Missy was young so she loved to sleep in the bathroom sink,which was always cute,now Mrs. Missy is older and Tiger and Little Bit have passed away,and Mrs Missy likes to sleep in normal cat places like chairs and tables ,but she likes to try and sleep in a plant every once in a while.

The wierdest place my cat has ever slept was in the trashcan as well! But he actually had people tripping over him 90% of the time because he slept in the middle of the floor!

Mostly in the sink. I've had cats that slept in boxes, on book shelves, under the bed, behind things, all over the place, but the funniest is the bathroom sink. Maybe it's not so funny. It's just the right size!

I have a picture of one of my kittys asleep in my mop bucket (empty of course) I thought it was so cute - I had to get teh cammera. And I had a puppy asleep in her food dish!
