And what a goal! Berbatov scored yesterday and now Robbie. Is UCL a redemption to non-scoring signings? I hope he makes a good partnership with Torres from now on.

I think the weight of the expectations is slightly less in the early stages of Champions League. For starters, the opposition is usually lighter. Look at the mess that led to Berbatov's first goal, it was a school boy error. His second was slightly better, but that much space in the penalty box is impossible to get at EPL. Again Keano's goal was great, but I do not think he would get the same chance in EPL. So that way though I am happy both are off the mark, but still I would like to see them open the scoring in the EPL as well. Cheers! Ram

Yup, this is really great news to all liverpool fans. woohoo!! The partnership is really gd with keane creating chances for torres in the previous game and now torres helping keane to break his duck. I must say the finishing is world class for keane's goal. The cross is perfect too. SOmething strange that maybe we have noticed, both former tottenham strikers ( keane and bberbatov ) break their duck in the champ league together. Looks like they wont like to lose out to one other when it comes to goal scoring, lol.

You're quite right. eheheheheheheh Robbie: "What!?!? So he broke his duck, uh? He'll mock me if i can't break mine as well!"

Well we are talking about two very talented and world class strikers... I think that players in UCL matches give their 101% :P of their abilities cause UCL is the best clubs cup and also strikers are sometimes unlucky (like Berbatov against Bolton)... It surely would give a boost to both of them... Robbie and Fernando would surely be a great forward force for Liverpool this year...

I've never doubted them for a sec. We all know what to expect from them and we will surely see much more. :) I would be lying if i say that i liked Keane's signing. I'd prefer someone younger and with a higher prospect to the future like Aguero or Villa. But Rafa is the man and all Liverpool fans must trust him.
