Is it really awkward to say I LOVE YOU MA or I LOVE YOU PA?

It's very easy for most of us to say i love u to our GF's or BF's or friends but not with our parents. y is that? is It because we are not used to say it with them. Are parents deserves more those words than our gf's or bf's i guess....

Hi merphius. This is what I think about your question.. I think that they deserve all our love.. I don't say that I love them but I feel that.. maybe after they're gone we will think that we didn't say to them, but after all, they give us life and give us the best that they have.. I don't think that is awkward to say "I love you MOM, I love you DAD".

Yes I know what you mean, and it is when they die that we feel we should have, I don't know why we feel this way maybe we think it isn't a cool thing to do but when we lose our parents we often wish we had told them so much more....

i tell my parents i love them all the time, before i get off the phone with them, or before leaving thier house. we always told our parents we love them
