Mom has glasses that she likes, that are easy for her to hold and are pretty. I have my functional glasses that won't tip over and are straight up and down, not fancy. Well, through NO fault of our own () we are down to one of hers and one of mine and tomorrow we have to go get some. I hate to spend money on dumb things like drinking glasses. We have lots of smaller glasses but we both like the large glasses. Mom has arthritic hands and really needs her type of glasses but I can't find them anymore. My arthritis doesn't bother my hands so much but I like a good solid glass. These two sets have only lasted a year!! They sure don't make 'em like they used to! And we both hate plastic glasses. How long to your drinking glasses last? Do you have a favorite kind or shape? I buy the cheapest, usually. Maybe that's why they break within a year.

We pretty much have gone through a variety of drinking glasses too. I kind of get annoyed because they're all so different. Some of them are designed to look like coke bottles, and I love those. They're thick so I'm not sure if any have broken, we have a few. Also, we have plenty that are just straight up and down, and they have ridges on the side, but they are in two different sizes. I guess only the strongest survive.

My mom can't handle glasses that are too heavy, she's 83 and her hands are so thin and fragile. So I have to get something suited to us both. I never saw those coke bottle things, sounds like something I'd like.
