For the last while I've been thinking of how young I feel on this forum, with so many different view points and some I don't even care to venture on. Such discussions that are more serious then I want them to be, and well, I just feel like a kid compared to a lot of the more "wise" mylotters here. Do you ever feel this way? I know I do. I've been on forums before, as well as my fiance (I think) and well I felt more at home in those, you know, with people my age from around the world. But here, I feel as if I am a kid again! So what's your mylot age?

Hi there CowGirl. My age on mylot varies as the subject of the topics that i answer varies - i think it's a matter of perspective as it is related to how much i know about the topic in the first place... sometimes i feel like a teen, sometimes i feel like an oldie :)

Sometimes I feel like a six year old on Mylot. You know the kid that is a know it all and all the adults just stand around smiling and nodding their heads patiently. I'm the same way on discussions. I don't like getting involved in anything that is too heated. I keep things light. And, I feel uncomfortable with one line chatter. Sometimes, I go onto these discussions and one thread is over a page long. It's like a chat room discussion. I'm envious. I haven't mastered the technique of small talk.

Lol, well I thought you were going to say a know it all where the kids are old enough to be punished for being such a smarty pants... lol, well at least I am not alone on being one to not get into a nice heated discussion! I appreciate the response!

I know what you mean baby, with so many point of views that you can find on this site from people of different ages, and races, and cultures, and sometimes it is hard to not feel like a kid when you are among members of mylot who are a lot wiser than we are and know a lot more than we do,I do feel like a kid again, like I am in a candy store with all kinds of new flavors and things, but I have to admit I like feeling like a kid again,I love you.

I know feeling like a kid again is not a bad thing, and I hadn't actually thought of it that way. I appreciate the response baby, and I love you too!

I'm kind of young too myself in age, but my life definetly is not. lol. I feel like my say so is just as important as anybody else's on here. I could care less about their age, or how many posts they have, or how long they've been on here. If I see something that interests me, or if I think I can give a decent answer, then I'll respond here like I would anywhere else.

Well that's great that you do not care about the age, the post count, or how long they've been here. It shows your not intimidated. I don't like to think that I am intimidated, but it does seem like I am. I appreciate the response.
