can you control yourself on eating a lot of your favorite food?

i love eating! but lately my body figure begun to look like a bottle of a 2.5 litre of a coca-cola bottle.i've decided to diet by not eating every breakfast and lunch but every time i see my favorite food served in the table, i really eat a lot! it ruined my diet! can you give me any suggestions about this?

Hi Sheryl..I love to eat fruits,and some other healthy foods.I control my self when ever I see my favorite dish or any fruit...Because I want to be healthy and I like to maintain my body in a slimmer way and that's how it is...I deviate my self from food to any games or Ill just go out of that place...You are just 21..I you are not able to control your body and way of eating now..,you'll find it very difficult to control it after some years....And you will be facing serious health problems..I'm not warning you..I m just advising you...One way of loosing interest from your favorite food is.,You eat it large quantities even if you get bored of it...So that next time when you see it,you'll remember that it made you feel bored,,,,

i love eating tasty food. i had always weakness for the foods that i love. the best way to maintain fitness is playing games and doing workout. i do eat my favorite foods and work out regularly, so, i dint gain much weight. its hard to stop eating favorite food, but by reducing fatty food and food with carbohydrates may help to reduce weight. best way is to play games or to do regular work out.

why a people can stop to eat the delicious food ? i can't stop to eat the food which are my favourite.but i think if you have eat too much you will feel full and stop to eat that .but if you still can not stop to do that you need to avoid to see the delicious food

hi my friend, i have also gained a lot of weight and have to control myself on lot of things. i gained weight during my pregnancy. now i am tooo fat. i go to gym regularly but i dont think , things can change that fast, as they changed. i mean i gained weight more fast than i loose. i am trying so hard. i have controlled my diet a lot. i have stopped eating out, stopped eating fried, pizzas, burgers, dumplings, chocolates. ice creams. but i think i have to work more hard. i think i am controlling but because i feed my baby also , so i have to eat also. i cant just starve. my baby will be affected. i try to balance my diet. i hope i loose weight.

well what i would suggest you dear is that prepare some nutritious but yummy food for your breakfast and lunch. when you have already eaten that, you can taste a piece of your favorite food. it will not cause you any harm and you will not eat it much as you will already be full!! Try it!
