I would really like to go on holiday in the past, not really sure how far back etc. I know that people do orangize holidays so you can go back in the past and see how people lived and live like them for a short period of time. Its got to be in England as we don't have passports, anyone know how to find out, know anyone who has been on a holiday lie this etc etc Many thanks

Anne, I think you should just come and stay with me. You don't need a passport to travel to Ireland and my children are always telling me that I live in the past so you might enjoy it...ha, ha.

I am a primary school teacher and one of my classes studied the Victorian era. The school I taught in arranged for a 'Victorian' teacher to come in for a day. She did a lesson in Victorian style for each class but we the teachers were not allowed to watch. One of the children had a learning support assistant that was able to go with him. She and the children told me they really enjoyed the Victorian lesson. There is an open air museum in Sussex I think and it has old buildings and puts on historical style events sometimes. You might want to go to visit old castles like Dover, Deal and Warmer in Kent for example. Good luck finding a holiday in the past. I am sure that would be exciting.

I like the Victorian age and loved it when they did a programme on english telly called Vitorian Farm. It was just so good and I found out that you can actually go and have a holiday in this farm house. Sadly I'm the only one in the family that would like to do something like that.
