Angry, Cross and Miserable

I am crossed this morning because of what I come to MYLOT and see. I have a prefectly yellow star yesterday and went to this discussion in the interest of RELATIONSHIP where this lady was saying that her boyfriend is cheating. I rated under 2000 in this interest but low and beyond I see my star rating drop to 6 this morning and my rating in Relationship has been increased to over 2600.
Over and over I tell you all persons here in MYLOT that I don't cared about this little Star and ranking because I have my beliefs and you has yours. You all think that it is good to tell person lies which I don't support. I prefer to be truthful as ever on this social network.
You all can continue to put negatives beside my name because I know that it is what I put in is what MYLOT is paying me. If I do one discussions per day that is what I am getting paid for. So you can continue to press negatives read my lips 'I DON'T CARE'.

I just put a + on this discussion because I think it draws attention to the anomolies of the star system. I shall probably get my star rating dropped down now. I can understand you being cross and I do not understand why people should keep putting negatives on your discussions. Maybe I am missing something.

I had a rating of 8 at one time and it was dropped to a 6. This was when I posted on a controversial thread about gays. That was months ago and my rating has not gone up since then.
It does bother me even though mylot doesn't base their pay on your star rating.
It's like you can't have a negative opinion on something.
We are all entitled to our opinions but some people get vindictive when they don't agree.
Personally, I wish Mylot would get rid of the star rating. It doesn't do anyone any good. Just gets people all upset.

kerriannc do send an e mail to mylot telling them how you dropped from an 8 to a6 overnight. these meanies are at it again. to go from 8 to6 ovenight shows someone is hitting the minus key on allyour comments, responses and discussions indiscriminately which is against mylot rules. you just do not minus someone because you do not agree with them, this is a no no. tellmy lot as they will investigate it. Iwas minused a few months back from a ten to an eight and i felt so sad, and angry and finally I emailed mylot and two people were banned for hitting the minus key on me over and over all night.

Hello Hatley, you know I don't want for persons to loose their little income that they are receiving here in MYLOT. As I said before I don't care about the star rating and I am serious. Since Mooch, DFN etc leave MYLOT I am not that active here. I know that persons such as yourself, mylj, fwidman to name a few are trying to make MYLOT as enjoyable as how it suppose to be. I just don't have the heart for persons to get ban. One day they will do to someone what they had done to me and that person will not hesitate.
My fun here in mylot is just see what advice I can give and also the help I can receive as well. I love being here and I have learnt alot since coming here in May. I just want to continue to be myself and this is what I will do.

LOL For someone who doesn't care about it you sure are protesting alot. (kidding) I really don't know why everyone gets so hung up on ratings or stars. Heck I never pay attention to those things, or even the number of posts. I didn't even realize for over a week that I'd gone over 1000 posts. LOL Its just a star, no biggie.

I think alot of persons think that the stars give status and money. But what they don't know is that it is the one's with the small stars are the active ones. I really don't care about it maybe when I did just come to MYLOT but being here and seeing what happen has change my attitude towards the stars rating. Take care.

I have yet to figure out what, if any, importance the star has. But, so long as I am earning here, I don't really care that much. I don't know why anyone would rate you negatively though. Me, I can understand as I am sometimes a smartaleck. You, no way!

I would not worry that much about a star. It's nice to have a blue 10 star but not at the cost of speaking out my mind. Even thought it means that mylotters would rate me negatively. I would not make compromises with my belief or something that I strongly belief in. © ronaldinu 2008

I think I may know the discussion you are referring to because I too got blasted in it for my thoughts by someone...don't remember who. I don't think my star went down for it tho but then again I haven't checked. Don't worry about it. The star really doesn't mean anything.
