How do you like going to the dentist? I start to worry about it 2 or 3 days ahead.
I am so afraid that he will find something terribly wronge with my teeth. I have a very special Dentist he has learned to control my pain so much that I no longer worry about that but the expense of dental work is so much it keeps us in debt and we have dental insurance. I don't know how anyone manages without it. How are your experiences?

i absolutely hate going to the dentist. my dentist is wonderful, and i take good care of my teeth, but i just seem to have the worst luck with them! he is always finding something! the latest is another root canal. :( my dentist referred me to the doctor that does the root canal work, but i have yet to call for an appointment because i am so scared. i know i need to just do it because it will only get worse, but i don't want to! :(

I am totally terrified of the dentist! I had a horrible experience when I ws young and it has tormented me to this day in regards to the dentist. I remember the mean guy taking some teeth out with no freezing!!! I was only like 12 years old at the time. I avoided the dentis for a very long time, and still do unless I absolutely have to go. I know this is a bad way to be, but I cannot help it.

Visiting a dentist worries me also very much. Though I don't have any dental problem, I would be restless until he checks my teeth and confirms that they are healthy.

We have to pay for our dentist monthly.
I actually like going to the dentist.. but only because for some reason my teeth are very good, I do make my hubby mad as I am a brush nad a promise girl and I always seem to do ok at the dentist. He spends ages cleaning his teeth and the dentist always has a moan. The dentist man is also a jokey man and I always have a laugh and joke with him.

The last time I went to the dentist I had a tooth that was giving me a lot of trouble, so when he looked at it he told me I had two option, root canal or extraction, well straight away I went for extraction as I have heard so many horror stories about root canal, being painful, going wrong etc, and I am not a brave wolf when it comes to the dentist, so I took extraction, well do you think that tooth would come out? The dentist pulled and pushed and pulled and pushed, well he had to take an xray of it and the roots were embedded in the jaw! Well after a few grumbles from him I had to wait in reception as he had to let others go in. It took an HOUR to get that tooth completely out! It wasn't a very nice experience and neither was the bill afterward!

i had most of my teeth out in my childhood(not milk teeth) but was fortunate to have all of them back and that too in very fast time and from then onwards i have always cared for them and no problems with my teeth and no braces as well. i brush twice and see the doctor every 1 month and more often when i need to take one of my family members to the dentist.
and no more fear of dentist now because i have been their patient in childhood and they did some good and thats why i still have my healthy 32..
