Boon or curse?

Is internet a boon or curse? Well we all know that internet is very informative,helpful,builds a social network,meet new people,earn money.
But it has also a bad side to it.P**n,spams,etc.
I know that people at my lot know everything i said above. But do the children and newbie's know that? Children means teenagers. They become prey to the bad side of it and make thier life miserable.
So on the whole, is it a boon or curse?

Every thing on earth Will have both good and bad. If you use internet for good purpose then it shall be a boon, and if some one mis uses it then it be a curse. it just Depends on our usage.
Compared to Bad there are lots of useful things on internet,one can communicate with other person who may be another part of the world in a fraction of seconds, we can learn a lot on net. so internet is definetly a boon

as you said everything on earth has a good side and a bad side,but how to prevent the young lads out there from its bad side .decide it overall for everybody.not for yourselves.

I think everything in life has a bad side, including the internet. But knowing how to use it responsibily is the key. If we teach our children and teens what to do and what not to do, and to be safe using it, then I think it is way more of a boon than a curse. Of course the other thing that can be a curse about it is spending too much time on it, like I tend to do sometimes. But I can stop anytime I want...really...I can if I wanted to. I just don't want to. lol

You know that everything can't be settled by just teaching, if it would have been so then this world would have been a better place to live until now.
