What came? The ring of course. I wrote a discussion a while back, and my fiance did as well, about the ring that we ordered as a second engagement ring. The first one broke a few weeks ago, so luckily this one was already being made. I do miss the other ring, as it was beautiful and something special to me. However, this ring is just as beautiful, with a ruby and an amethyst as that is our birthstones. It has our names inscribed on it, and I think it's just beautiful. We may get it engraved, we haven't really talked about it too much, I wonder if the ring would be too small for an inscription, though I doubt it as our names are on it, and clear. Although you have to get close to see the names, it's still clear as it's finely written.
We don't have any film in our polaroid or we would take a picture to show everyone, when we do get film we'll take a picture.
It's a great and special ring.
Anyone else have an engagement ring with their birthstones in it? What about a wedding ring with their birthstones on it?

Any ring that holds a special meaning could be worn as an engagement or wedding ring. I am a believer that it isn't a diamond or a plain old gold band that signifies the meaning of the ring. It is the sentiment behind it that counts. Big huggers to you.

I didn't receive an engagement ring from my second husband. It wasn't something that I viewed as necessary. We often times don't wear our wedding rings because of the work we do. But, it isn't the wearing of a ring that proves a marriage. We know we are married and show that with our actions.
My first husband never wore his ring. He did not present himself as a married man. This is why he is now my ex.

Yes I'd have to say that to be a bit fishy that he didn't ever wear it. I think that it's great that you and your husband have made a decision not to because of your line of work. It's better to know it's safe then to lose it.

I think your right in saying that it is the sentiment. The first engagement ring was from wal * mart hence why it broke, but nonethless, it was still special to me. I also like the fact that some men will give their ladies their grandmother's wedding ring for them to wear. I would wear a piece of macaroni if my fiance made it, lol! I appreciate the response.

Yeah I know I am so glad that the ring finally came because we had been waiting almost three weeks for it,because it will be three weeks this coming Saturday since we ordered it,I knew it would come soon, because last Saturday they sent me an email saying it had been shipped, and I know the old ring broke but luckily we had already ordered the new one,the other ring was a beautiful ring and I miss it,but I am glad you now have the new ring, and it is a very beautiful ring, because it has both our names and our birthstones on it,which shows everyone that we are going to be together forever, and yeah it sucks we do not have Polaroid film or we could take a picture of it,and I am sure we will have film at one point so we can take a picture and share it will all our mylotting friends,I love you.

I really do love the ring baby and I am so glad that your mom showed us the ring so that we could decide if we liked it. I know I really did, and better then the other ring that was silver. I am more into gold at any rate anyway, as it's more appealing and shiny. It makes me think of the way rings used to be made, even though I am not sure how they were made. I think that it's a real beautiful ring, and I am glad you also think that it's beautiful. It is more precious and special because of the fact that it is engraved with both of our names and our birthstones are beside our names. I know that it is just a mere symbolization of the eternal love we share. I love you too baby,, I hope you have fun mylotting!

We thought of getting a ring with my birth stone in it (garnet) but then we found a diamond one that I absolutely loved. That's actually not so bad even if it is traditional, because it's my husband's birth stone. Maybe I should get him a men's ring with a garnet in it, my birth stone.

We weren't really expecting to get one with our birthstones in it, we had talked about it as a possibility, but I did fall in love with the ring myself. Garnet is a beautifully colored birthstone. I had to look it up, but it is very beautiful.

That sounds like a lovely ring!
And very special with the birthstones
on it. I don't have anything similar.
Just plain CZ!
I bought myself a fancy fake diamond
set to replace the first one that got
lost.
It looks real! And, gorgeous.
Best of luck with the wedding and ring.

What is CZ? My first thought was Zirconium, but I don't if that's right. I know that they call some fake jewelry technibond, but i'm not sure if that's actually correct. I appreciate the best of luck, oh and the response. Have a great day.
