Hi, all my friends. I just want to know more about this great day. In here this hallowen celebration become more popular every year. It's become popular 4 years ago and know every year in my place celebrate this hallowen day. In my place the celebration is done in one building, maybe like hall, everybody gather in that room dressing their own unique cloth and scare each other. Is hallowen celebration like that ? So I just want to know, what exactly is hallowen day ? And how do you or people on your place celebrate this hallowen day ? Is it the same in my place or not ? Thank's for the willing time to read my discussion and giving some repsonse in here.

Well every Oct. 31 little kids get dressed up in all different kinds of costumes (some scary, some cute) and they go to peoples houses and knock on the doors and they get candy. They go from house to house to house knocking on the doors and getting candy. When they are done they go home. When they get home parents usually look through the candy to make sure no one did any bad stuff to it. In highschool i remember one girl who got her tongue cut cause some sicko put a razor blade in a candy bar. But stuff like that doesnt happen often. Adults celebrate too, but we dont go knocking on doors for candy. Adults usually just get dressed up in costumes and go to a big halloween party and get drunk. lol! I actually cant wait for this halloween. A friend of mine always throws the best parties ever. Hope this answered your question.

Yeah, I remember I was in 5th grade and my friend ate a tootsie roll with a razor blade in it. It cut her upper and lower lip on the inside of her mouth. So now I even snap my kids candy in half before they get it. It's pretty sad it's come down to this.

Thats a really good idea, snapping the candy in half first. You really cant be too careful. The only people who trick or treat are children and for some sick son of a b to purposely try to cut and hurt kids is just horrid. I mean to hurt anyone is bad but to hurt innocent children is even worse. You are a good parent. Keep up the good work.

I just already know that there is something like that. It's very dangerous. Why they want to do that, especially to the kid one.

is a holiday celebrated on the night of October 31. Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, ghost tours, bonfires, costume parties, visiting "haunted houses", carving Jack-o'-lanterns, reading scary stories and watching horror movies

hehe.. Actually Halloween can be considered to be the opposite of christmas.. lol =D Christmas is about snow and white christmas, a family occasion for gift exchange.. But Halloween, is a day whereby devils come alive, and it's more popular celebrated with frenz.. lol =D And halloween is always much more fun than any more celebration as most pubs and clubs will be participating in it, urging customers in those funny weird funny suits.. And for the staffs themselves, they are required to be part of it too by dressing up for the occasion.. haha =D And that's the only time, whereby u can see the clubs all full of gross masked ple.. haha

It's just similar in our place the way we celebrate holloween. Everyone's getting ready for a costume parade/contest for holloween. All scary stuffs and outfits, masks and other accessories will come out during holloween time, especially the kids. They will be busy fo their trick-or-treat wearing their scary costumes. We also visit the graves of our relatives during holloween time.

In here, the celebration of Hallowen is only make by the adult or teenagers one. The kids in here don't go to each house to get a candy. Thank's for the share.

I used to take my younger brother trick or treating, but I'm pretty sure that we're both too old this year by far! I can't wait until the day I have children that I will be able to take trick or treating. I really can't wait. I miss being a child, so i think I need children of my own so i can get in contact with my inner child again!

I think treating our own brother won't be count with our old. We can do it eventhough we are quite old. Maybe with different way that looks more adult type.

Too me Halloween is a holiday which allows people to walk around in all kinds of decorated costumes as say Trick or Treat to get candy, every year when I was little I would dress up like something the last year I went to trick or treating I dressed up like Darth Vader and went out to get candy, every kid loves candy, and Halloween always has a nice feel in the air,and there is always the smell of chocolate and other candies.

winzpc, Halloween which means Hallo's eve is really a Witches Sabbath day and they celebrates the day of all sould day, when the veil between this world and and their world is thin and the sprits of your loved ones can come and visit you if you invite them. That is why children dress up and scre one another and have lighted pumkins lanterns outside of every house. Tamara
