Hello,everyone.I'm new here.I am introduced here by my friend.And I found it's really a good place for chatting,getting more information and making new friends.I am a non-english native speaker,I'm from China.It's also a good way to improve my english.I hope i will have a fun time and make more friends here.
And i have a question here,when somesone send a new discussion or response,there is a number after his/her username,such as hongqistreet(2).What does that number mean?Could you help me about the question?

Hi there Tikoy girl. I hope you'll enjoy your stay here in Mylot. I'll add you as one of my friend here. The number beside your username indicates the number of posts you made(discussions, comments, responds) Here's another who you mite wanna know. Have you seen the star above the user's username? You can see color green, red, yellow, blue, etc., etc. with numbers 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10.. It signifies you're reputation here in Mylot. It goes up and changes color everytime a mylotter gives your post a positive "+" rating and when some picks your response/comment as the best response.. Hope that helps. Happy posting!!

The highest is 10 that would be color blue with 100/100. So far I haven't seen 100/100, only 99/100. Hope that helps you.

Hi there!
First of all, welcome to the mylot community. ;D I assure you will have the best times here. The number indicates how many responses you have posted to other people's discussions. In your case, it means you have responded twice. If you have responded to the same discussion twice or thrice or more it'll only be counted as one. ;D
Just some tips, when you respond make it at least four lines so you can earn. ;D Good luck and happy mylotting.

And as for the number, I'm not sure but I think it is how many posts you have made on mylot, but like I said I'm not 100% sure about that!

I really like Thai.And i hope i will have a chance someday to take a visit here.Of course,i'v not been there before,but some friends introduced me to go to Thai.They told me it has a beautiful scenery and definitely worth the visit.What's more ,it's not far from Chian,so i've planed that i would go head for your country in one or two years.

hello and welcome -
if you've started a discussion - i think it does not add to your participation number until it has been "validated" with a response.
it's fun to watch the number and later on, the star - but don't focus on it, as mylot does like people posting discussions related to milestones, earnings and numbers
if you haven't read the TOS, please do soon, as there are certain types of discussions that will be removed. when this happens, the points earned by anyone responding to those discussions will also be removed.

It's my forth day here.I've really learn a lot here and thank you for mylotters' help.Maybe i am not active,i think it will be a long time till i've got a star or earn 10 dollars.How long did you spend for your first 10 dollars?

... soon when you reached 100 post you will see a star left by your name and it also has a number from 1 to 10 this numbers will present your ranking because each and everyone here in mylot are ranked by other users same as you.... Hope this helps!!!

To answer your question, the number after the usernames is the # of posts they hae made, if I'm right..

It's my second year here in the US, and yes, I definitely miss my hometown a lot.

Hello,I am new too. My friend introduced Mylot for me several weeks ago. At first, I was busy doing my job so I hardly posted my comments or topic in Mylot.My friend began to advise me to post more topic. He said, if I was good at English as well as you, I would post topic everyday. My major is English, so I use English everytime. Now, I work as a salesman, the job is contacting with foreigners. So I must find a place to practise my English. I have found interests in Mylot.
I hope that we could make friends and make progress together.

Hey hong, im new too. I just joined yesturday. I only have one friend so far, but i guess im not really putting forth effort to make friends, but i wont turn down an opportunity either. I think its really great to chat with people from all over the world. I am from USA, Chicago to be exact. My experience on mylot has been great so far. Hope you have just as much fun.
