Why after Marriage Girl needs to move out to Husband place?? Miss my dad...

Well i got married some months back...and had to move to my hubby's place...We both love eachother yet i sometime wonder what is the necessity of moving... i mean why is that gals have to move out her parents house... i just so much miss my parents especially pop....hmm do u feel so too???

The point of getting married is to build a life with your new husband. You parents are not responsible for you anymore. In western tradition you move in with you husband in a new place, not his parents house, and you start a new family. I heard that is different in India and that you essentially officially are now a member of that family but not your old one anymore. Your husbands family has to support you now and any kids you might bear. The ties to your parents are severed. Is that true? You can't visit them anymore?

Yeah we do have to move in with our husband and his family after mrrg...In India the relationship of gals and her parents are not severed jsut bcoz she is married... SHe can visit them any time and vice versa... but yeah at certain places you need to take permission from your hubby or in-laws... Its cool for me,...
