As I am writing this blog, I am crying. You know why? I am deeply touched and inspired when I have seen the video of 1992 Barcelona Olympic Runner named Derek Richmond. I watched the video continuously and repeatedly, but still i cannot help but cry. His story is really really heartwarming and inspiring. Most especially when his father came to him to help him finish the race. Whew! It's so inspiring to see a father, helping running from behind help his son who is in pain...while running to win the race in the Olympics...It made me remember how my father did almost everything possible just to provide us with what we need. I still cannot help but cry, as I recall how Jim Redmond reminds me of God, because he came to help his son finish the race. It is my father's birthday today, and I am thankful because he is my father. Jim and Derek Redmond's experience is truly a great inspiration to all of us.
