This is my front door. Doesn’t it look inviting? If you look closely you can even see Petie my little dog welcoming you. I am extending an invite to all myLotian friends a welcome to come and have coffee or tea with me.
When you come to California I would like to be a gracious host and get you the food you like and take you where you want to go in California. I would like for you to tell me what you would like to do while you are staying with me here in California USA.
We are 72 miles from Yosemite National Park, the home the famous Half Dome and Glacier Point look out point. We are 5 hours from Disney Land. We are only three hours from San Francisco and two and a half hours from Monterey Bay where they have the famous aquarium. We have Kings Canyon National Park, Big Sir National Park, Hurst Castle, and loads of there things to see while you are visiting me.
I think if we plan your trip right you can have a great stay here. While you are here resting between the day trips you can swim in my pool and relax while I barbecue something up for dinner. We have a lot of different types of cuisine here in town if we would like to go out and eat.
What would you like to do?

I will make you ice tea while you swim in the pool. Petie will not swim with you but he does like to lick the pool water off your legs when you get out of the pool. He will bark at us if we through the ball back and fourth he thinks the ball is his and does not like it when we do not share. He runs from one end of the pool to the other as we through the ball barking the whole time. It is rather funny because the ball is one of the those big round bouncy balls you see in the big cages at stores. It is all yellow with a happy face on it.
Abagail will lay at the side of the pool and supervise and the Sammy will lay on a chair and watch us all.
We can then go to Yosemite National Park and along the way I can show you where I grew up and my high school

You know - there's one of those balls on my client's porch. I don't know where it came from, but it showed up, grinning into the window so I've left it there. Probably from some neighbor that has since moved.
I've worked for my client for a year and a half and she's had 3 neighbors across the hall and, I think, 3 above her as well.

Someone left it there to grin for you. Mine is in the cupboard that stands outside. He needed to come in out of the cold for the winter. I did not want the smile to turn into a frown.

Wolfie's eyes light up! You've got a pool! I am definitely coming over, I wonder if they'll let Wolfs into California without being quarantined! I am healthy LOL and I would love a nice cup of hot black sweet coffee, no milk and I would love to spend the day beside the pool and swimming. Wow that sounds truly wonderful and there's nothing better than having your own private personal tour guide to take you to interesting places! The only trouble is I don't like the heat so I would need to be in the shade that might be a problem for me though. I would love to see The Golden Gate Bridge so that would be my first request to see it with my own eyes.

I only show my fangs if someone angers me and pushes me into a corner, other than that I am a loveable placid cuddly wolf LOL! So I will be on my best behaviour for sure. Have you seen James Bond, A View To A Kill? The ending was set on the fabulous Golden Gate Bridge! Closest I've seen it, literally!

if you do not show you fangs and you clean up I think you will not have to be on quarantined.
If you fly into San Francisco you can see the golden gate bridge then we can go from there.

I have always wanted to see your country. It would be a culture shock I bet but I would be thrilled to learn new things. I love to learn the different ways people live and how they do things. It is so much better than reading it in a book.

Your home sounds very comfy and inviting... and there are so many activities that one can do... since you live near beautiful tourist areas... i think if i will go to your place... i would love to visit Disney Land... then Yosemite Park... after that... just stay in your home and take a dip on the pool... and enjoy the delicious barbeque... that would be like being close to heaven...

I would love to go on all the rides with you at Disney land and we could stay a week in LA we could go to Knotts berry farm and the wax museum, Hollywood and all the other tourist things down south. Then I can take you to all my favorite places up in Yosemite. I know it will look different because they just had a rock slide in the valley floor yesterday. I can show you my high school I went to in Mariposa (45 miles from Yosemite). I can introduce you to some of my friends up there. What do you like barbecued? I like to barbecue steak, chicken I do not know how to grill fish to well. If you come in July the pool is usually around 80 degrees. I do love to swim.

You would be an awesome hostess!
Most certainly.
My daughter would love to see the aquarium
with all the sea animals.
She loves that kind of thing. She would squeal with delight.
And seeing the joy on her face would make me
endlessly happy.
As for barbecues, I have a really good time cooking
so I might have to muscle you away from the grill!
P.S. Thanks for the invite. I'm bringing chips.

We could go see the Monteray bay aquarium and then spend the day at the ocean. Then we can have dinner at the warf and have clam chowder or what ever fish they are serving. We could have cotton candy which is my favorite.
Your daughter might like my pool she could play in the shallow.

Wow tea! That is so nice of you to open your house to all
us mylotians if we make it to California! I would love to
come for a visit. I have never been there and have always
wanted to check it out. I don't know where I would want
to go because I never really thought I'd get there. I
think I'd probably like to see San Franciso because everyone
talks about so much. But, I'd let you be the tour guide
since you live there and you know the best places for a
tourist to see. There's so many places to see! I would go
crazy trying to see California! But, sadly I don't think
I will be getting there any to soon because I don't travel
much. I can't even afford to go to NYC at the moment!
But I will remember the wonderful invitation in case I
ever can get there!

San Francisco is great. I love Pier 39 that has loads of shopping and wonderful food. San Francisco also has China Town and the museums in the park. I do love that area. You could fly into San Francisco and we could spend a few days just there going around seeing everything. WE could take in a play. Since we are dreaming
