Bail Out, the Other White Meat.

For anyone who hasn't seen this garbage that is passing as legislation, I suggest you all download and read this: http://www.speaker.gov/pdf/AYO08C04_xml515pm.pdf it's long but worth it and very very telling. It contains far more than an economic fix, it includes loads of pork "global warming" fixes and LOADS of pork, including tax credits on things like virgin island rum and wooden arrows used by kids. think I'm kidding? read it. And worse, it essentialy creates a new fourth branch of government, the Treasury Branch. This new Branch is only checked and balanced by the Executive Branch. With these new powers to manipulate the economy, the Secretary of Treasury will become more powerful than the President. this is very dangerous legislation. I urge you to write your represenatives NOW before the vote today and scream against it, many did on the last house vote and as a result, the house version was struck down, please do so again.

Why am I not surprised? They don't serve the country, they serve themselves.

This bail out is nothing more than a sham and a blatent attempt to socialize our economy. Even more outragous is it contains provisions to bail out foriegn banks. I am of the same mind set as Ron Paul and Newt gingrich, this is absolutely not the wya to go. And whats worse, the methodology and atmosphere by congressional leaders in this is almost dictatorial and bullying.
