Im confused about all the tainted products from China!

I really dont understand. We get warning after warning about the things in our day to day life that may harm us from China. It seems like it has effected everyone of us in some way or another.
Why is it happening?
If they make all these products that are tainted why do we not hear about China having tainted products they have made?
Are they poisioning them selves as well as the US?
Is it more than just the US that is being effected?
Are they doing it knowing that they might harm us?
Is it a money issue?

It certainly is a money issue. How else could they disregard human lives especially of little children, if not for money? Big companies should pull out of China to give them a lesson. However, I doubt if they will do that. Why? Again, it's the money issue. People could be greedy sometimes that everything else is disregarded except for their love of money.

Is money really worth the lives these companies are risking? Why do we not have a system of ethics instead of a bunch of greed? It really has me irked.
