Dimensional Perception -by- WR Curtis Jr - This is what they call a fake front. The cover is currently being done. I have ideas of what I thought it should look like and they took my thoughts. I just got the gal;ley recently (The book with out the cover) for review and she sent out fifty of these to reviewers including the New York Times.
I am a writer. It is a hobby, a job, and a passion of mine. I write Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Thrillers and the current book I have with a publisher is categorized as Contemporary Mystery (I think it is more a Paranormal Thriller but the publishers win in the end) Dimensional Perception is going to be published by Dream Catcher Publishing March 2007. Excitement doesn't even touch how I feel. I have just started posting my newest book UnCharted. I figure I won't do the whole book here. So far I have 7 novels written going on 8. How about you have you written a novel, are you published?

I like to write. I have been writing stories since I was seven but I don't think I have finished anything since I was seven, either, lol. Okay so I finished a few stories in college when I took a creative writing course and I finished 2 fanfiction stories last summer but nothing since then. I'm working on a novel right now. I'm up to 4k words--woohoo, lol. I'm about half way through chapter two and I've been working on it for over a week so not doing real good yet. You can check out what I have written at http://notarealwriter.bravejournal.com

I wrote 2 fanfics for That 70s Show. I did them both in about 2 weeks and each was about 20k words. So when I signed up for NaNo last year I figured I could do it and I wrote a 3rd fanfic (a continuation of the second one I had written over the summer). I haven't finished it yet because I wrote myself into a corner and I'm bad about going back and editing, lol. It will probably be almost 50k when I finish it. I only ever keep my writing blog updated during November. Then again, I only really started it last November. And I haven't written much in it since then. But it helps me straighten out my thought at the end of the day.

That is awesome. Fanfics are fun. I used to help my sister write some for Xena. She was addicted to the show, lol. I checked out the blog, but it came up all blocked out. I will try again later. Thanks for sharing so much. It's great to meet you and I look forward to us getting to know each other.

I write because I love it, and it makes me feel free. I actually got a little novella published, but I wrote it when I was like... 15 LOL So it's not too great and I don't promote it. It's just cool to be able to say look, I have a published book! http://www.amazon.com/Broken-Tears-Yuliya-Geikhman/dp/1413773710/sr=11-1/qid=1163546563/ref=sr_11_1/002-9376147-2980048 I love fantasy. Anything that takes me away from reality.

I would love to read some of articles though. And don't say you aren't good enough...you can practice and improve. It is all a learning process. I am glad you shared. Thank you.

Writing is most definitely a passion of mine. It seems I cannot clear my mind long enough to sit and write anymore. I recently joined a community of writers. We just write articles and the site publishes. I absolutely love it. Free to join and you can earn money for your work. I have written poetry in the past, but it has been awhile.

Which site is it? I belong to Associated Content: they work that way also. I only have three published there though. I have been very lax about submitting. Of course, I have been trying to work on a couple of novels also. So, I keep busy. I am looking forward to getting to know you better. Thanks for the response.

It is a great site and they pay through paypal. What does Helium pay? I couldn't find it on their site when I checked a minute ago. I'd like to know more. I am just a curious duck, lol. Thank you for the information. I appreciate it. It is so nice to communicate with other writers.

Yes, I'm a writer, also. I've written poetry, short stories, music...mostly as an amateur. One time I wrote a teaching plan for music for those in the choir wanting to learn how to read music. I've had a few poems published and lately have been working more on putting music to one particular poem. (The basic melody is complete - next is instrumental arrangements....) The type of material would range from life experiences to fiction to nonfiction - what I write depends on what's going on at the time. :)

That is really interesting. I thought about having a few of my poems set to music, but I just don't have the "musical talent" in me and don't know anyone that does. They did use one of my poems once in high school and set it to music in the music dept. It was cool. I look forward to getting to know you better. Hope you are enjoying myLot. Thanks for the response.

Having your thoughts recognised and published is a great thill - and yet to hear your words set to music....that's very cool. :) This will be the first song I've ever published and hope to have it recorded next year - it'll be a dream realized. Have a great day.

Writing has been my bread and butter for over seven years now. I started when I was still in college, published a number of articles, then worked as a content writer, then as a content manager (who also writes content), then as an SEO writer. My resume is filled with writing background. It is great to earn from something that you actually enjoy doing. Such a blessing!

Amen to that Arlene. I do so love writing, and it is true blessing that I can earn money and have a husband that supports my writing 100%. Sometimes I think he has more confidence in me than I do myself. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to getting to know you better.

But did you enjoy it? You can be good at something but if you are not deriving pleasure out of it, then what is the point. Just something to think about. I love the idea that you wrote songs, did you also set them to music? I am not musically talented at all, although, I love music. Let me know if you decide to start writing again. I have some great websites I could share with you. Thank you for replying and have a great New Year.

I went to you blog, and am going back to read more later. I also checked out your helium content. I am very interested. It says they pay...how much. I am with Associated Content and they pay between $5-$20 per article via paypal. What can you tell me about helium, their site didn't really say much. If you'd like to check out AC, here is my referral link. They are a great site to write for. In the coming year I plan to devote much more time to them. http://www.associatedcontent.com/join.html?refer=15512 Thank you for responding. I really liked your post.

I love to write but it depends on whether the topic in question is as per my taste. I write poetry too. I would be interested to know if there are some sites on to which I could pen my thoughts whether it be prose or poetry would do. Anyone have ant idea about that?
