whats your latest digital camera? are you satisfied? / myLot

i have my latest digital camera model Kodak easy share Z885. i seldom used it, until the latter time come my LCD crack.. and that gives me headache right now because here in the Philippines it's seldom find such model like this. i have been roaming around canvassing, the technician always tells me they don't have such available LCD for my cam, and if there is it's too very expensive. it will cost you 3,000.00 pesos - $65.22 in dollars to 4,000.00- $86.95 dollars for the LCD only excluding the technician fee which it races to 800.00 pesos - $17.39 dollars to 1,500.00 pesos - $32.60 dollars. very expensive isn't? until now im still looking and continue canvassing for my digital camera so that i could used it again. i am not satisfied really disappointed. what about you? please share your thoughts or any ideas... if you happen to know any service center or any digital technician that can resolve my problem, please share it with me...

I live in Malaysia and the cost of fixing Kodak Easyshare cameras are not cheap either. I dropped my Kodak Easyshare camera last year(luckily it was still under warranty) and sent it back to the vendor. The vendor had it sent back to the 'factory' for repair. About 8 months later, I was given a newer model as replacement. I was charge RM50.00 as the service charge. I demanded a reason before I accepted the gadget. Yhey told me my that water had caused short circuit in my previous camera. I should be happy that they are kind enough to replace me a newer brand! Actually, I believe the technicians of the company did not even check what happened to my previous camera! Of course, I guess, you could ask for a replacement of another camera. You will have to pay the service charge whether or not the company do anything for you!

my brother bought this camera outside philippines, i don't if kodak here in the philippines will give me a replacement. now, my problem is if they have an available for my camera LCD. because i have been canvassing since last week back majority of all techinician i ask, they just answer this is a latest model we dont have an available lcd for this... i was very disappointed, loosing hope to find this lcd for replacement so that i can used it.

I have a Canon PowerShot A410 . 3.2 Mega Pixel Camera. It is Okey for me but sometimes I badly need video. It does not support audio when recording video.

thanks a lot. i have my canon also which is power shot. i have the olympus shockproof and water proof resistant. i dont have any problem with my other gadgets. only with this model kodak

I got Sony Cybershot.... but I think digicams are all the same...What is important is that you can take photos...
