Does anyone believe our current president, George W. Bush, could be the next FDR? If he had time, would he be able to save our economy or make things worse?

Well, since we have a constitutional amendment that now prohibits more than 2 terms, I guess it's a null and void issue. though, I am now of the belief, after events in congress this morning, and a few articles I came across on other issues, the constitution has been all but forgotten.

George Bush had his day in the sun. It's time to step aside and allow someone new that can take us out side to capture greener pastures. I really believe that America can still be the world leader in self development, self technology, self energy efficient, that can put billions of dollors back in our economy. Put thousands of people back in the work force. We need to renew our infrastructure of our country. Franklin D Rosevelt pulled the country out of the the Great Depression, By creating the New Deal to help relief the unemployed, to restructure the broken banks with (FDIC), Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) which created thousands of jobs to put america back on track building Dams and water ways. Also created Social Security. He was victorious in the outcome of WWII. I beleive if Bush had been able to serve 4 terms as of FDR, He could have possibly turn the tides of Victory, and become a proud president the world would look upon as one of the great ones.
