I've seen two "good" movies, "The Breakfast Club" which is definitely my favorite movie of all time, "They'll stand up, we'll all stand up! IT'LL BE ANARCHY!" --Bender, and "The Lost Boys" "How much you think we should charge 'em for this" -- Edgerar. Haha both fascinating movies of the eighties.

Usually, I find some of the big blockbuster type movies a little underwhelming, but I thought this year had really been pretty good for movies. I particularly loved Wall-e which I thought was unspeakably gorgeous (and heart-warming) The Dark Knight was also superb - and one of the most spectacular things I've seen in years - Heath Ledger was absolutely incredible as the Joker. Aside from the big well-known movies, I saw Jar City last week - a grim, gritty Icelandic detective drama and was very impressed. It was totally engrossing the whole way through. Very recommended if you enjoy that kind of thing.

A Very Special Love starred by Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz. It is locally produced movie but was shown worldwide. It is a romantic / felt good movie and I really enjoyed watching this movie. The conversation was purely in Tagalog so if you are not a Filipino surely you will not understand it since there is no subtitles in it.

My favorite subject...movies! It really depends what types you like. A great movie that I saw a few months ago, was called "Into the Wild". It is a drama, and is based on the true story of Christopher McCandless. I believe there's also a book. If you haven't seen it, I'd recommend it. Although, a lot of people didn't like it. Just depends on your tastes. Another great movie, was "The Pursuit of Happiness" with Will Smith. It's also based on a true story and is one of my all time favorite movies. It's very inspirational. Hope these helped you. What type of movies do you generally like?

Well I just saw Lakeview Terrace and I really liked it. I thought everyone did a really good in their acting; man..you really hate Samuel L. Jackson in that movie!! And you love Patrick Wilson as the 'hero.' Really good plot, good suspense and creepiness of Jacksons character. There's also a lot of good action in the movie; not overdone and phoney, just real! :) And it has it's funny moments too. I wouldn't mind going to this movie again if someone else needed a movie partner, but I will defeniatly, probably by it when it comes out on dvd :)

Hancock, for me was hilarius... and "What happens in vegas...", Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher make such a good comedy team, 'cause they're not afraid of make fun of themselves, as far as bad movies go... I would have to say the remake of "Prom night". I was really excited to see it, cause after all its a classic, but this one dissapointed me... in one word, it was lame (sorry). "Mirrors" with Kiefer Sutherland its pretty good, the story line is thrilling and the special effects really make it work Happy MyLotting and have a nice day... or night, whatever! Xp

Everyone's definition of good and criteria of a movie are different so it would be hard to say or agree if it's not the genre you usually like to watch. I would say the last good one that I watched is "The Bourne Ultimatum" but others would disagree so I wouldn't recommend it for several reasons: 1. If you don't like Matt Damon it's very hard to sit through it 2. If you don't like action movies it's very hard to endure it 3. If you're a fan of the Bourne books and couldn't care less for the other two, don't start now since you would only pick on the things about it 4. If you think that it's just another one of those Hollywood conspiracies to get money from viewers 5. If you think it's just a waste of time But then again, it might be your cup of tea and you might want to try it out because: 1. Matt Damon did most of the stunts (it's safe to say MOST since I'm not sure whether he did it all considering the danger of it all) 2. It's not bad for an action movie 3. Jason Bourne is a great character despite the fact that they've changed the plotline (you have to consider the fact that they need to modernize the whole thing since we're moving forward with technology and other aspects to consider) 4. You get to see some car chases & rooftop chases again (lol) 5. Just because you want to give it a chance for once to try something that isn't your cup of tea (if that is the case) Okay, I'm done with my rant, but it can all be ignored since I already read quite a few negative thoughts for this movie so this is just my thoughts and I wouldn't want to force it on anyone. Good day.

You know I agree with you, movies these days don't really make that much sense as they used to. Back then they were all usually about love and romancel, but now they're just meaningless, but there are still some great movies that are still, for example the last good movie was either V for Vendetta or Cloverfield. Especially Cloverfield, one of the best movies I have ever seen.

Yes it is true that movies are not made the way they used to be made earlier.. Actually i generally watch light romantic english movies. The last movie i saw was 'What happens in Vegas' starring cameron diaz. It was a nice movie and was a breather for me, since my husband likes sci-fi films..and i generally sleep through those films.
