Do you think money brings happiness?

Money gets the necesities in life, shelter, food and clothing, fun things and other not so fun things in life but happiness comes from within and the people we love.

First,I want to know what is happiness.Apparently,Everyone has himself answer. I think money can brings happiness.For example,a man loves a woman very much. but he has a liitle money and cannot support his fambily . listen, there are three word “can not support”.so his lover chose to leave him . money is tool.people can use it to achive our happiness.now,for the man ,happiness is the money . If you are rich enough,you think money is nothing .when you need it ,money is everything .Money can bring happiness.Money can influnce happiness.

Money isn't everything. It does pay your bills and feed you and such, but it will not buy you true happiness. Some of the happiest people on this planet are dirt poor

Money plays an important role in happiness, but it does not equal happiness, which depends on many other things, including health, family, ect.

we live in a materialistic society just you said and we are trained from our earliset years to be a aquistive,our possessions,'mine 'and' yours',are clearly labelled from early childhood,when we grow old enough to earn a living ,it does not surprise us to discover that sucess is measured in terms of the money you earn ,that is can notify you are a sucessful man ,waaa,you are great.... person is vanity one ,when we heard such words many times ,we are in the happy situation by ourselves ,think money can bring everything and make money is the most happiness thing on the world , maybe ,,monwy can bring everything include happy ,bu wealth can lead to disater ,that is true, so money not equal to the happiness, the real happpiness are from your heart ,the real happy from your bottom of the heart

Of course money is important in our life.We can't buy food,clothes or others without money.It really makes our daily life happier and more colorful if we have enough money.Everynoe makes great effort to earn money in order for a comfortable life.I think that's good. But money is not the most important thing in life.There are also something money can't buy,such as health,love,happiness.So don't lose your health to make money.Health is more important

I don't think that money brings happiness. BUT, I do think that money can bring less stress. It's hard to make it month by month and worry about money for gas to get to the doctor, money to buy medicine or money for food...just the basic essentials in life. Then again, maybe there are other worries that I've not thought of for people who do have lots of money.

Gouranga! I agree with you about running after money results no happiness. The real happiness comes from God. Much higher enjoyment than anything in this material world. You can reach it if you chant or listen to the Hare Krishna Mahá Mantra: Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Ráma Hare Ráma Ráma Ráma Hare Hare We are not this material body but we are the spiritual living entities in this body: the soul. Our happines depends on the condition of our soul, and not on the condition of our body. That's why we cannot be happy by having a healthy body only. We must have a happy and satisfied soul in this body, as well. Then we can be happy. By chanting this mantra we serve God and He gives happiness to our soul. Gouranga! (means be happy!)

yeah that's right money is not the only way to make people happy in thier whole lives.....

Money can bring us happiness, but not all the time. It's a man's nature that if you have enough for you, you will ask for more and I don't understand that. I think the more people has more money, the more they become greedy. Other people think that if they have the money in the world, they can be more powerful and they want more power.
