Diet should be balance, eating junk doesn't mean you are spoiling your health but that should be very often, so try maintaining a balance diet, so I would suggest eat everything but in small amounts and regularly. Drink more water and you will remain healthy for the rest of your life.

Bountiful Harvest - Good fruits and vegetables to eat
I am eating healtier, My doctor has me on a low carb, high protien diet, lots of chicken and turkey, fish. Lots of salads, other vegies and fruits. I love to eat strawberries and peaches, I also drink herbal teas with honey rather than sugar. Cut back on soda, chips, cookies and sweets, cut out the oils except coconut or olive oil. Try some stir fry with vegies and chicken or lean strips of beef for variety.

I've always found salads to be the best, especially ones with low-fat chunks of chicken.

If you want to snack have carrot slices for sweet, celery sticks, Sliced peppers and nuts. Nuts are good for omega-3s which you need. Get a varity of vegetable with lots of color.

There are many healthy foods which you can eat for lunch and dinner. First of all let me start by saying well done for wanting to eat healthier. Most people resort to junk food because they cant find the time to pepare and plan healthy meals. If you make a menu list for the week for your 3 basic meals breakfast, lunch and dinner then you already have it set and ready to go, buy all the ingredients you need at the beginning of the week. Make a snack box with fruit, home made low fat dip, rice cakes etc. Now for what kind of healthy meals you can prepare for lunch and dinner. For breakfast just pop some fruit in the blender and make a smoothie, they taste great are healthy for you and give you all the good stuff!! If you like ice pops make your own! make a smoothie and freeze it in the ice pop mould trays. You feel like your getting a nice treat and it tastes great! For lunch have a small baked potato and salad, Dont add lots of dressing to the salad instead put the dressing in a bowl and dunk your fork into it prior to eating the salad. You get the same taste but your salad is not soaking up all those extra calories. For dinner try fish and chicken along with some veggies. If you dont want to eat another potato mash up some califour for some fake mash! works great The main key to eating healthy is basically just eating less of the bad and more of the good. If you watch what you eat and allow treats in moderation and walk or excersie daily.

Get a couple of cook books, like a vegitarian cook book, low fat cook book, and other healthy cook books. Then make a meal plan for a week or two and find out all the ingredents you need. Then shop at all natural food stores and try to buy organic, low fat food (say recipie calls for butter or milk or saladd dressing, get it in low fat instead of regular). You can still eat junk food as snacks but if you start to substitute junk food with fruit or vegetables and a low fat dip. After a while the junk food won't taste as good and you won't have to worry about it any more.
