I was generally feeling tired and run down and despite leeping well was really tired when I awoke. My pharmacist recommended I take Panax ginseng, 2 tablets per day. I did as she suggested and yes I do feel ok now, but was it the ginseng or did I just catch up with the sleep I needed by myself. What exactly are the benefits of ginseng?

I took Ginseng for quite awhile and I'm considering adding it to my daily diet again. Ginseng is known to give you extra energy and also aid your memory and mental sharpness. I think you may have experienced a combination of the energy booster from the ginseng and also your caught up sleep. If you like it you might as well keep taking it, it doesn't hurt you at all. :o)

Thanks, as I said above I don't really want to take it for the sake of it, but will certainly use it again if needed.

I have a friend who works in a healthfood shop and she says it is very good, it is very popular here in Australia so if it makes you feel good then stick with it...

Thanks for your contribution. I am not really a fan of pill popping whether it is a natural treatment or not. I will certainly use again but if I am fine without I will stay without.

I am on the search for ginseng in India. There is one company manufacturing it. But it is always with other vitamins added to this. Can I get some details about where I can get them here.

I also take ginseng 2xdaily. It was recommended for sharpness and extra energy. I believe it helps me. I have ms and brain fog and fatigue is inherent to my condition. I also have insomnia. I sleep 4 hrs a nite. I am trying to break this habit and get more sleep since I hear it will help me live longer and lose weight. Wish me luck. :)
