The tourist ageny organized a bus trip to Gardaland, Italy. As usually on such trips, everyones agrees on a time to meet by the bus to return back home. And always few people are late and the whole bus waits for them. But this time it was different. A group of eight young people (19y)were late and everyone on the bus and the tourist guide from the agency waited for them 35 minutes, when they decided to leave them there and drove back home. Anyway, now theres a huge mess involving court and stuff, parents are pressing charges against the agency for leaving their children there. Do you think they were right to leave them there? Or should they waited longer for them?

It can be worrying to go on a coach tour, look around an area and then lose the way back to the coach. I would hope in that case that it would wait for me. The coach driver and tourist guide waited for more than half an hour. I think that they should have waited for one hour because the passengers were teenagers. I can understand that the teenager's parents are angry that they were left in Italy, stranded because the coach had left without them. I took a bus to a light house at the most South West corner of mainland Europe (Portugal). It was a very windy spot and it would have been uncomfortable to have got stuck there for hours. But the driver just went leaving some tourists there. I am always cautious about missing a bus, train or ferry but 19 year olds wouldn't be as sensible as me I think. I feel that the parents are right.

I agree they should have waited a bit longer. But they were of age and should have the responsibility to come on the bus on agreed time. They say that other passangers were getting all anoyed, because they would miss their tranportation back home (when they return) and there were small children on the bus..ect. Im not really sure what to think or who was right or wrong, but I kinda do think more its their own fault for not coming on agreed time. I dont know if you know what Gardaland is? it's an amusement park in Italy by Lago Di Garda. anyway thanks for you thoughts!
