What things do irritate you while driving?

I hate it when someone waits until I get close to them then pull out in the highway and do 2 miles an hour in front of me. It irritates me when drivers will speed up to keep you from passing them. It also irritate me when slow drivers use the fast lane. It irritates me to see so many drivers now adays on their cell phone when driving.

Hi, I love driving especially long distance; and road-hoggers irritate me the most (just like you say, slow drivers in the fast lane). They just refuse to budge, when you politely flash or honk them; most of the time, I have to overtake them from the left. Another one is queue cutting at toll gates. I hate rude drivers who would not queue up; they would try to cut into your lane, and see if you are intimidated enough to let them through.

I bet you're going to get a lot of responses to this discussion! I would say people who are on there cell phones in their vehicles irritate me. Mostly because they tend to kind of stray from their side of the road. They just don't pay close enough attention (some may pay attention, but I think the majority don't) and it can get very irritating. Another one would be people who don't use their turn signal and then try to cut between you and the car ahead of you. Especially if there isn't much space so they take me by surprise for squeezing into the open space, and then not signaling to top it all off.

I hate tailgaters. These people should be taken off the road. And I hate to say it but they are mostly women that tailgate. Flying down the highway at 110 mph 3 inches off someones bumper. To me this says look at me I am an idiot!

There are a few things (mostly drivers) that annoy me while driving. Firstly are the drivers that do not know how to wait for their turns. They love to cut queue and try to squeeze themselves in between me and the car in front. Secondly are those drivers that do not like to use their turn signal and make you guess whether they are going to turn in or not especially when I am waiting at a junction. Thirdly are those road hoggers who drive slowly on the fast lane and refused to change lane even when there are a long line behind him or her. These people normally wear their brains on their knees. Lastly are those drivers who like to beat the red light. They are dangerous and do not care about their safety and the safety of others. So there you can have my list of driving idiots that annoy me almost daily. Cheers!

About the only thing that irritates me when I'm driving is people who drive really, really slow on roads that don't have any place to pass them for miles. This always seems to happen when I'm in a hurry on a couple of roads and there are only about one or two places to pass safely. Then usually when we do get to those places, cares are coming from the opposite way and I can't pass anyway. If you don't want to go the speed limit than pull over...

I live in Ky with alot of curvy roads. I hate when I am driving and someone is kicking that back of the seat or messing with my hair or fighting.Because I feel that anything that is taking my mind off the driving and the road cold be dangerous since some people like to hop the road while going around tight curves or their trying to take a curve to fast and can't unless they are on my side of the road with being distracted or irritated while driving I cannot react fast enough to not cause a accident.

Both my husband and I have poor vision, so we do not drive, we are always the passengers in the cars. He used to drive though, before he lost his eyesight. The things that bother both of us are other drivers who do not pay attention or who do silly things on the road like cutting other cars off, and running red lights.

Drivers who talk on their cell phone while driving irritates me very very much. It piss me off because it is inconsiderate and selfish. Drivers who talk on their cell phone while driving drives off balance and real slow. Once I encountered a teen driver talking on the cell phone away and I could not overtake the driver because it was a winding road. Hoyo....it was a looong slow drive all the way. When we came out of the winding road I overtook the car and blast the horn on the teen........hehehe!!!

I have been a driver since I was like seventeen and sometimes it is fun to drive even though sometimes it is a hassle,because there are a lot of things that are very irritating while driving,for example,people who get behind you in a traffic jam and start honking for no apparent reason,and the ones who drive by talking on their cell phones instead of paying attention to the road,and the ones who have their music blaring.

silence.. i have to have music or something sound wise or i wont be able to focus on the road.. i HATE horn blowers.. they make me jump out of my skin.. slow drivers.. people that have to come to a complete stop before turning when you could just normally turn..

Tailgating. I hate it. I am a nervous driver, and try not to go out on open highways - but when I do (trying to stay on the limit), other drivers feel it's necessary to drive right on my bumper. They don't seem to understand that if they pulled back a bit, I'd be able to pull over and let them pass me - but when they are so close, there's nothing I can do. It's very frightening and intimidating.

I am also irritated with the bumps in the road especially during School days but what else could I do and some of it is also the way of the people who is driving in the road like they would like to overtake and always want to be in hurry......

My husband eating cheetos while he is driving....that crunching drives me nuts!.....lol

There is not many things that irritate me when driving, because I am probably the most relaxed person when driving, which is different from when I am not behind the wheel! I do find that when people do not indicate if they are going left or right slighly irritating and people using mobile phones when they are driving which is now illegal in our country, but do you think that makes a difference? NO!

I think the one thing that irritates me the most is that with highway repair they go down to a single lane and some driver has to hurry up to the line then force their into the single line because they don't want to wait their turn. Then there are the drivers that ether won't or wait until they are at the corner to turn on their turn signals. I hate it when some one is talking on their cell and not paying attention to light changes.

I don't drive but whem in the car the thing that annoys me most is when someone doesn't signal infront of you which is also dangerous as is the elderly who drive at a snail's pace thinking they are being safe...littleowl

Hi ronaldinu, I don't drive but I hate people who speed, they car about other users as long as they can show off and speed down the road doing 100 p.m.h it is very dangerous but they don't seem to care. Tamara

Tailgaters, I absolutley hate tailgaters. Get off my butt or you will hear from me and see my response, especially at night with bright lights shining into my car. I hate it.

The most iritating thing to me (I'm going to get it for this one! LOL)is liitle old men and women that peep throug the steering wheel and drive 5 mph. Get a booster seat and speed it up!!
