Another win the league and that too a comprehensive one. The scoreline hides the fact that it was an emphatic performance by Manchester United. Rooney has scored in 3 consecutive games now. Berbatov was immense with his great first touch and silk passing. No doubt he's a great buy and will surely score his first league goal soon. Ronaldo is not going for glory all alone now which I believe is a great improvement. Maybe not another 42 goal season but if can continue to provide those vital passes like the one to set rooney up, it would be great. Vidic looked rock solid in the defence.
Looks like the team is getting back into the groove. SAF is rotating the strikers well. Giggs has excelled in his new central midfield role. Good to see brown in the starting eleven.
Overall, it was an awesome display away from home in truly bad conditions (weather).
What do you say?

It definitely was a fantastic win for Man U especially given all their midfield problems. The victory was made sweeter by the fact that Arsenal slipped up yet again. But, the best part was to see Rooney score in three consecutive games. I guess this is a long time since he has scored in three games running.
All in all things seem to be getting better for Man U.
Cheers!

Yeah, it was truly a prolific display by the Red Devils. I was pleasantly surprised to see Rooney on the field. I tuned in about 5 minutes into the game and couldn't believe Ronney was on the pitch especially after the week long speculation that he wouldn't be fit enough for the match. Good times ahead for the old trafford outfit.

Rooney's good performance is a factor of good game, but you cannot deny the presence of Ronaldo. He did provide a lot of dangerous passings and crossings from the side. Compare with previous games without him, you can see the attack power of Manchester united really improved.

I haven't seen the match, because I was away for the week-end and I can only watch Premiership matches online. I'm sorry I didn't see this game, because from your description, and from Air Alex Ferguson's declaration, I missed a good match from United.
It looks promising, with Rooney scoring goal after goal and with Berbatov blending more and more to the team's game.

I am an ardent support of Man U, and am certainly delighted that they have won their match against Blackburn this weekend. It looks like the tide's turning and they are back on the winning path, and slowly but surely now they will be creeping up the EPL table to challenge the early leaders and make a strong bid for the leadership. Arsenal slipped up again, and time will tell if Drogba's ligament injury suffered in the match against CFR Cluj will affect Chelsea's results in the EPL. I feel this season, the top four positions will still be fought among the four giants in English soccer ~ Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.
