When I was a kid, my mom loved making taco salad. She used these big open taco shells and piled all kinds of taco goodies inside. My favorite part was the shredded cheese. It was easy to prepare and we had it at least once a week. Guess it was her signature dish. Did your mom have a particular dish that she liked to cook every week when you were a kid?

My moms favorite food to cook still is lasagna. Everytime I go to visit she pulls out all the stuff and begins cooking it. She knows how much my sister and I love it. Mmmm that makes me want to go visit tonight. :)

That sounds yummy! My mom made a really tasty lasagna, too. She rarely made it. But when she did, it was good!

Mine was homemade chicken noodle soup. A simple yet hearty meal. Filled me up and kept me warm on those cold days. Ahhh I miss my moms soup.

Chicken and noodle is such a healthy dish, too. It's been years since I had any. Might make some for my daughter. She loves noodles anyway.

My mom would make spaghetti every Sunday afternoon and every Wed night. It was always homemade sauce too...yummy! She worked nights the rest of the week at a restaurant, so we would order pizza always on fridays. Then on Mondays we went to eat at the restaurant she worked at. I would always get spaghetti and meatballs and my sister would get meatballs and french fries. I guess I ate alot of spaghetti growing up!

Hello beauty queen. My mom was good at cooking the dish of leek with fried eggs, which was my favorite as a child, even now. Now my mom is very good at cooking braised port with some dry pickled vegetables, which is my favorite. My mom often cooks this dish for us. She cooks this dish better than other family members. She is great!

My mom's favorite food to cook was chicken. We would have it almost every Sunday for dinner. I don't know why she liked cooking that so much, maybe because it was the one item she could always make that all of us would eat and that she wouldn't mess up when she cooked it.
