Well, we don't call the meat of pigs, pig. Lol.. it's called pork.
Scientist have proven that eating too much of pork is harmful to our health and bodies. Firstly, they just have too much fats in them to be of any good. These fats if not used up will block our arteries in the future, which may lead to many health problems in the future.. such as hypertension, heart attacks and so on and forth.
Another thing about pork is that it contains a kind of bacteria in them that can not be killed with heat. No matter how thoroughly a piece of pork is cooked, or how well cooked it is, the bacteria will still exist within the piece of pork. This bacteria is very harmful to the human body.
There was a rumor that went on which says that if we were to pour coke on a piece of pork, we will be able to maggots crawling out of the pork. This shows how dirty pork is actually. I am not too sure if this rumor had been proven right or whether or not it is accurate.
I myself don't eat pork although I am a Chinese. I used to eat it when I was younger as I am Chinese, and pork is considered to be of a delicacy in the Chinese culture. However, I stopped consuming pork when I turned 9 or 10. Somehow or rather as I get older, I came to find pork and all other red meats to be smelly. And by consuming them, I will gag and feel like vomitting. So i stopped taking it. I don't like pork at all because of its taste, smell and texture. And sometimes, i marvel at how my other Chinese friends seems to enjoy the taste of pork!
It's actually forbidden in both the Muslim religion and Judaism. I don't think that eating pork is forbidden in Christainity. Christains seems to be able to eat all sorts of things, and so far I have not heard of any food items being forbidden in the Christain religion. I could be wrong here.
For the muslims and judaism religions, pork is not considered as kosher or 'halal' and so is considered as a unclean sort of flesh coming from an unclean animal. That is all about what I know about these two religions.
Hopefully I have helped! Well, happy mylotting to you too!!
