Has anyone else heard that Disney is giving a free ticket on your birthday in 2009? I just signed up and received my certificate. I think this is so great. I was planning on taking my kids there next year anyway. Check out there website and you can get yours too!Have a great day!

Youre welcome. It is free but it is only for one person and for one day. I think the idea behind it is that people are attracted to free stuff so more people will go just because it is free. And they will bring other people with them because no one goes to Disney alone. Also they will more than likely stay more than one day and have to pay for the other days. But i still think it is great!

Disney World and Disney Land just raised their prices, so that is really great that you got a free ticket. I think its awesome, and a smart idea. It is something kids dream about, but when money is tight, those dreams can get out of reach. Your kids must be so excited. It sure gives them something to look forward to!

Yeah I had heard that,. If you get the park passes it can mess up your "deal" though. I think it is great if you are just going for one day and not getting 5 day park hoppers.
This year they are actually offering better deals since the business is so slow. Many rooms are only $50/night and they have some kind of free meal program going on.

I hadent heard that about Disney but a lot of places are doing things like that. Even if getting in at Disney on my birthday was free I wouldnt go because it is way to far and not only that but I would still have to pay for my son , daughter, and husband to get it so it would be expensive. I assume the reason they are doing this is they probably figure if they get one person in for free they will bring others who will have to pay and wind up making more money just for giving a free pass anyway! I am sure they arent hurting on the loss from one ticket or they wouldnt be able to offer this type of freebie! Maybe they are earning less daily then they used to with the economy doing so poor right now people probably cant afford to go as often as they used to, to disney world. Whatever the reason its nice to get something free and I'm sure many people will really appreciate disney offering this to them.
